Let me be the first to say that I’m in. Over NO.VEMBER I plan to put aside around $80 by saying NO to buying coffee-out. If I’m desperate I’ll have one at home.

By Regan Perry on October 11th, 2009 at 7:37 pm

I’ll be saying NO to bought lunches for the NO.VEMBER. I guess that’s about $60-70 …we’ll soon find out. Great campaign!

By Kate Faulkner on October 11th, 2009 at 8:04 pm

I’m saying NO to bought lunches – what a waste of money that can be! I’d rather put it towards something a bit more meaningful than my stomach! That’s going to be about $80. I love this! Such a great idea turned into reality!

By Steve Meyerink on October 18th, 2009 at 6:30 am

I will be saying no to brunch – almost every day at work I have a morning snack between breakfast and lunch. I can say no to that and my body will thank me for it too! haha – should be $60ish

I say No to buying scented candles in November (even the tealights). I like them a lot but, I like the idea of third world countries to have clean water and education EVEN MORE!!!!!! :o )
My husband, Chris is happy to keep me accountable to this and he is thinking what will be his “NO to…”. Excited to be part of this – all the way from Edmonton, Canada!!! Blessings, Mona :o )

By Josie Drew on October 20th, 2009 at 11:37 pm

By Kylie on October 27th, 2009 at 5:32 am

I don’t often buy things that are not a necessity to my life anyway (although, it’s funny how it’s a necessity to mine and some don’t have anywhere near what I have), but I’ll say NO to some things I can manage to get rid of! – ‘extras’ at the petrol station ($2 p/w) . NO to the tempting macdonalds drive through ($4p/w). NO to any drinks when I’m out ($3p/w). NO to internet shopping, oh dear, internet shopping (unknown – if/when seriously tempted, I will put it aside). NO to new work resources (always buying stuff for children I work with, YET, I have ENOUGH!)

By Toni on October 27th, 2009 at 12:34 pm

I’m saying no to bottled water & coffee :-)

By Regan Perry on October 31st, 2009 at 2:10 pm

Found out you can put your Austar/Foxtel in holiday mode (voluntary suspension) for only $20/month. Saving me about $100. So that’ll be our ‘family’ effort on top of my bought lunches and Kirsty’s Eating-Out.

By Mel on October 31st, 2009 at 9:07 pm

I am saying no to all unnecessary food and drinks(maccas, bottled water etc.)

By Ben Paine on November 1st, 2009 at 4:01 am

I am saying NO to eating unnecessary sweets and over-eating in general for the month of No.Vember – aiming to keep my wristband on for the entire month as a reminder. Love this concept!!

By Tereasa on November 4th, 2009 at 12:25 am

I saying no to some of the fancier things on my shopping list….

By LES AND LORNA on November 11th, 2009 at 3:06 pm

DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS YET BUT WE ARE PRETTY CERTAIN IT WILL SAVE ABOUT $80

By Bustin Family on November 11th, 2009 at 8:45 pm

We, as a family will say NO to buying fast food & takeaway for the balance of November (18 days) ranging from friday school tuckshop to “lazy-night” take-aways… for the almost 3 weeks, i estimate it to be around $120. NO.VEMBER is a fantastic idea that i will pass on to as many as i can – we’ll be wearing our wristbands to remind us why we’re saying NO when we have a desire for these things :)

By Nathan Smith on November 17th, 2009 at 5:46 pm

i’m saying no to coffee!
